TITANIC THE MUSICAL
I was honored to choreograph Titanic The Musical at the University of Michigan. What made the experience even more special was getting to work alongside Andre, my husband, who directed. We hadn’t worked together since we met at Barrington Stage Company in 2006.
Ashtabula arts center
I was honored to teach a series of master classes and choreograph two new pieces during a guest residency in my hometown of Ashtabula. I don’t know what was the sweeter pleasure: getting to work with these focused and talented students, or returning to the place that raised me, artistically. I will forever be grateful to the AAC for believing in me when I was just a young, crazy dreamer! I hope I inspired the next generation of young, crazy dreamers. They are my people.
Rosie’s rescue
I was thrilled to play Rosie’s best friend Jean in Featherwind Production’s short film Rosie’s Rescue. The short film, shot entirely in Indiana, is about a young woman who decides to find the stranger who once saved her life. It is available for streaming via Amazon Prime. The film, which was screened at the Heartland Film Festival, and has been named an official selection of the Toronto Film Channel, the Big Apple Film Festival, and the Hollywood Golden Age Film Festival; was named a semi-finalist in the Chicago Indie Film Awards, won an honorable mention in the Night of Drama Short Film Festival, and won awards at the Montreal Independent Film Festival and Istanbul Film Awards. It was awesome to get to see it on big screen at the Living Room Theatre this summer.
more Adventures with earshot audiopost
I began working with Earshot Audiopost, an Indianapolis-based, Emmy-award winning audio production company, in January of 2020…. and then COVID hit. But since the resurgence of the industry, I’ve booked VO work for Trinity Cancer Center, Next Level Jobs, Beacon Health Deaconess, a Christmas spot for Hoosier Lotto and more. Check out the Media Page to hear (some of) the finished products!
Mopping It up
In April of 2021 I spent the day cleaning… which is not unusual. Except this time I did it on film for a Libman’s ad. Mopping perfectly is remarkably stressful! No, I did not get to keep the mop at the end of the shoot, but I wish I did! Everyone will be getting one for Christmas. Check out the finished footage on my Media page!
